On 31 July 2007, more than 200 people gathered at the carpark outside Queen's Pier for a candlelight vigil on the last evening before protesters are due to be evicted.

Hong Kong Queen's Pier, the traditional landing point for visiting dignitaries including Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Diana, has been occupied since April, 2007 by activists trying to stop it being destroyed for a new bypass under the terms of the Central Reclamation Phase III works contract.

Hey, so nice to see you still shooting photos of this issue. ^^
And the Old Wan Chai Market is also facing its demolition, perhaps you would like to take a few photos there? Be careful though the stallers will chase away your camera.

well their reaction was typical of Hong Kong people when they saw my camera. "No photography!" lol
Next time bring a longer lens and listen mp3 loudly. Hee hee
