Ronny Tong Ka-wah (湯家驊), born August 28, 1950 in Hong Kong with family root in Xinhui, Guangdong, is a barrister-turned politician. Currently he is a member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong, representing the New Territories East geographical constituency. He is also a member of the Civic Party Executive Committee.
After graduating in Queen's College, he studied law in the University of Hong Kong(LLB) and Oxford University(BCL). As a member of the Article 45 Concern Group, he rose to the spotlight as a legal expert when half a million Hong Kong people took to the streets to protest against the proposed Article 23 anti-subversion bill, that was later shelved, in 2003. - wikipedia
