Cheung Chau Sakura actually is Prunus Serrulata (台灣山櫻)imported from Taiwain. They were planted 50 nos inside Kwan Kung Pavilion (關公忠義亭) in 1973, but only about 10 survive due to hot humid weather.

Kwan Kung Pavilion (關公忠義亭) built in traditional Chinese style in 1973, is dedicated to Kwan Tai, the God of War and Rigtheousness.
