Ronny Tong Ka-wah (湯家驊), born August 28, 1950 in Hong Kong with family root in Xinhui, Guangdong, is a barrister-turned politician. Currently he is a member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong, representing the New Territories East geographical constituency. He is also a member of the Civic Party Executive Committee.

After graduating in Queen's College, he studied law in the University of Hong Kong(LLB) and Oxford University(BCL). As a member of the Article 45 Concern Group, he rose to the spotlight as a legal expert when half a million Hong Kong people took to the streets to protest against the proposed Article 23 anti-subversion bill, that was later shelved, in 2003. - wikipedia

Margaret Ng Ngoi-yee (吳靄儀), born 1948 in Hong Kong with family roots in Dongguan, Guangdong, is one of Hong Kong's leading barristers. As an elected member of Hong Kong’s Legislative Council, she has gained even greater public prominence and recognition. In every legislative election held since the creation of the HKSAR, Ng has been returned with resounding majorities to represent the Legal Functional Constituency. Ng belongs to the Basic Law Article 45 Concern Group (the former Basic Law Article 23 Concern Group), a pro-democratic organization which has specifically campaigned against the efforts of the pro-Beijing administration to abridge the civil liberties of Hong Kong residents. Sonija Kwok (born 22 July 1974), or Kwok Sin-Nei (or Kwok Sin-Lei) (郭羨妮) in Cantonese (Mandarin Pinyin: Guo Xianni), is a Hong Kong-born actress. She is working for the major television station, TVB.

Born on 22 July, 1974, Kwok is of mixed Chinese and English parentage. Miss Kwok migrated to Vancouver, Canada from Hong Kong. After graduating from Simon Fraser University, she became a flight attendant with Cathay Pacific. After finishing her studies, she flew back to Hong Kong in 1999 and she competed at the Miss Hong Kong 1999 pageant. Before the semifinals, she was a favorite for the crown because of her looks. In the semifinal, she took the Miss Photogenic award. Having won that, she became THE favorite for the crown because in Miss Hong Kong (1996-2001), all winners of the Miss Hong Kong pageant had also won the Miss Photogenic award. Ultimately, she won the title of Miss Hong Kong (July 1999). She also won 2 other awards, Miss International Goodwill and Miss Intelligence.

After winning the Miss Hong Kong title, she participated in many TVB events. In January 2000, she represented Hong Kong at the Miss Chinese International 2000 pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada. She took the crown for Hong Kong and won 2 other awards. She is considered one of the most successful Miss Hong Kong and Miss Chinese International winners, especially since she is the only Miss Hong Kong representative to win the Miss Chinese International pageant since Hong Kong's Michelle Reis took the crown in the pageant's inaugural year in 1988. After her success at both pageants, she represented Hong Kong at the Miss Universe 2000 pageant. She failed to place in the top 10 at the pageant in Cyprus. She did make some impact though, making the top 10 of the Miss Photogenic polls, and was featured in the front image of the Miss Universe website during that time.

She is currently one of TVB's actresses. Kwok continues to star in many TV shows, series, commercials, and entertainment functions, as well as being a spokesperson for many beauty and other commercial products in Hong Kong.

On The First Beat (學警出更) is a 30-episode Hong Kong TVB drama being aired since 4 June 2007. It is the sequel of the 2005's third highest rating series, The Academy in 2005. The Police Tactical Unit (PTU, 警察機動部隊) is a special unit of Hong Kong Police Force in Hong Kong. It has an establishment of six companies comprising 1020 officers. Under each company (under the command of a Superintendent), there are 4 platoons. The Blue Tiger (Tirumala limniace) is a butterfly found in India that belongs to the Crows and Tigers, that is, the Danaid group of the Brush-footed butterflies family. This butterfly shows gregarious migratory behaviour in southern India.

Designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest in 1980, Fung Yuen Valley near Tai Po is a forested ravine behind the village of Fung Yuen. This area is recognized as an important breeding site for some butterflies of conservation concern, such as Common Birdwing and White Dragontail. Despite being located on the urban fringe, remarkably more than half of all local butterfly species have been recorded here.

Mitsukoshi Hong Kong, which is, as of 2006, the only Japanese-owned department store in Hong Kong, was opened in 1981. It was first located at 500 Hennessy Road, Causeway Bay. In June 2006, Mitsukoshi Ltd. announced the closure of its Hong Kong store on 17 September, 2006 due to the redevelopment of Hennessy Centre. The store will relocate to another location in 2007.

Thousand people were waiting outside The Lee Gardens (利園) to buy British designer Anya Hindmarch's bag in Hong Kong. Hundreds of whom had queued overnight. The asia limited edition I'm not a plastic bag sold or HK$120 (US$23). The bag selling only 2,000 in Hong Kong.


Police had to be called in as the crowd demanded to be let in for the Anya Hindmarch I'm not a plastic bag's launch.
